Virtualahan started in 2015 when our Founder, Ryan, experienced employment discrimination because of his chronic disease; an everyday experience by thousands of People with Disabilities. This is also evident for single mothers, out of school youth, among others. The two root causes of this problem are the outdated labor practices & inaccessible training programs in the Philippines. Virtualahan is solving this using an impact formula that combines digital skills training, employment & entrepreneurship support, life-coaching & community building through our inclusive, cost-effective, & transferrable virtual platform. Our community have always been left behind; the impact of COVID-19 & 4IR could push us further down unless we act now.
