Green365 Energy Solutions Ltd
80% of Kenya's consumed energy source is firewood and charcoal. Although Kenya is an agricultural country, at the present time Kenya's cooking sector remains dominated by traditional biomass fuels that have significant negative impacts. Charcoal production is a main contributor to GHG emissions in Kenya. The growing population demands more charcoal, exerting increasing pressure on forests, farmlands and community rangelands from where it is sourced. Biogas is a clean alternative but not affordable since most Kenyans live below a dollar per day. This clean cooking energy crisis can only be solved by a clean and affordable source. We convert agro wastes into smokeless briquettes which burn three times longer than charcoal and firewood.
