The maternal mortality rate in the DR-Congo is 500, against 5 in Japan. The pregnant women here are a hundred times more likely to die. The problem is poor health service levels. Only 6% of facilities can provide the minimum service defined by the government. S-PAQ is an app for health centers in Africa. Following the navigation, operators can easily cover all standard indicators including ultrasound. When they find an abnormality, they can remotely share data with specialists and get their help. Most of 2,000 pregnant women who took digitalized antenatal checkups were satisfied with S-PAQ. And Health centers saw a 74% increase in checkups and 42% in income.
