Jara empowers refugees & those in disaster/conflict affected regions to continue their education through our technology - the Jara Unit - a low-cost personal crank+solar powered tablet that teaches geographically custom education without requiring access to a classroom. We teach through traditional education, such as maths and sciences, all the way to practical curriculum, such as 'how to build a clean water system with the resources around you in Nepal', while preserving cultural roots.
