Globally 15M people sustain a stroke each year - or every 2 seconds. Currently 100M are forced to live with a paralyzed hand for life, due to brain damage from stroke. Lost hand function makes basic tasks such as eating & grooming impossible to do, increasing the care burden on society. Currently no affordable & effective rehabilitation intervention exists to help regain the lost hand function.  Furthermore with ~50% of global population living in rural areas, accessibility to rehabilitation poses a huge challenge. IRegained MyHand System offers a new paradigm in hand function rehabilitation which leverages neuroplasticity, the human brain’s ability to ‘reprogram’ its neural pathways to help recover motor control through telemedicine & IoMT.
